Your hosts

We have lived at La Nava del Milano since 1983 and our children Julian and Isa were born here. The ‘house’ was a ruin when we arrived and we have built it step by step to become a family home and then to realise a dream of opening it to share with others. We have been doing this since 2001.

We consider life to be a journey of self-realisation and of deepening awareness and have both explored and experienced many different teachings with regard to this.

Our continuing and underlying inspiration comes from the teachings of the Sufi mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan and his successor Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, whose vision was to create a beautiful world of beautiful people. The essence of this is to free ourselves from our self-image so that we can live our highest ideal.
