Meditation

'Meditation is doing in protected circumstances or conditions that which one should be able to do in everyday life.'  Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan

Our purpose is to become conscious of our thoughts so that we can understand the movements of our mind and to get to know our selves.

Through the process of quietening the mind we learn to discriminate between the real and the unreal and so become aware of the unchanging reality beyond the senses.

This is a process of self realisation, the essence of which is reflected in the words of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj.

Shah Naaz shares with you his many years experience of meditation.

'We don't see things as they are we see them as we are.'
